Singer Britney Spears has enjoyed her second day of freedom – following the removal of her dad as conservator – by taking to social media in one of the most liberating ways.
Spears has shared a number of NSFW pictures from her island getaway where she appeared completely nude, with just the pink flower emoji to cover herself.
The Gimme More singer captioned the Instagram post: “Playing in the Pacific never hurt anybody.”
More photos from the post includes the singer in a red bikini bottom with her hands covering her breasts and her new engagement ring on full display.
Her fiance Sam Asghari commented under the post, “#freethenipple”.
Spears also shared two videos from her post-court celebration trip. One video shows the singer and her fiance making their way to an island where the singer is seen topless in the water.
In the second video, Asghari can be heard saying to the singer that he “brought her an island”, to which Spears recites her iconic Oops I Did It Again “oh, you shouldn’t have”, followed by a giggle.
Yesterday, a judge agreed that Jamie Spears’ position in charge of his daughter’s affairs had become “untenable” and he should be replaced by accountant John Zabel.
In a new statement released by his attorney Vivian Thoreen, Jamie has said his removal was the “wrong” decision.
“This started with agreeing to serve as her conservator when she voluntarily entered into the conservatorship. This included helping her revive her career and re-establish a relationship with her children, ”the statement said.
“For anyone who has tried to help a family member dealing with mental health issues, they can appreciate the tremendous amount of daily worry and work this required.
“These facts make the outcome of yesterday’s hearing all the more disappointing, and frankly, a loss for Britney. Respectfully, the court was wrong to suspend Mr. Spears, put a stranger in his place to manage Britney’s estate, and extend the very conservatorship that Britney begged the court to terminate earlier this summer. ”
In the wake of yesterday’s decision Britney “burst into tears”.
“For the longest time, she had begun to think that she would never see the day that her father’s domineering control over every single aspect of her life would end, but it finally happened,” a source told Page Six.
The case is due back in court on November 13.
